Inter-School Debate for juniors an initiative of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road was started with a vision to hone public speaking skills of the students and to teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and expressions, and also help to develop their essential critical thinking skills.
Amaira Kapoor of grade 5A and Veer Singh Ahluwalia of grade 4B represented the school at the XXXIX Inter School English Debate for Juniors at Delhi Public School, Mathura Road on 29th January 2020.
Fourteen schools participated in the competition.
The Shri Ram School bagged the coveted Rolling trophy in the Inter School Debate hosted by Delhi Public School, Mathura Road. Participants Veer Singh Ahluwalia and Amaira Kapoor spoke for and against on the topic “Simplicity is the most valuable lifestyle”. Veer Singh Ahluwalia was awarded the Best Speaker.
